Pan Mixer

FoundOcean has developed a wide range of grout mixing equipment to support the different types of offshore operations it undertakes.

The Pan Mixer range features two types of Pan Mixer, both used when high strength grout with an SG of 2.04 and higher is specified. These types of mixing systems are synonymous with ultra high strength cementitious products.

Big bags of cement are lifted into the pans for mixing as high strength materials cannot be stored in silos. This is because the rocking motion onboard vessels can cause the component ingredients to segregate, which may lead to an inconsistent grout mix. Wind farm monopile foundations are typically designed to use ultra high strength grouts.

Delivery rates for the Pan Mixers range from between 6m³ and 13m³ per hour, depending upon the model requested.
