Fabric Formworks

FoundOcean designs, manufactures, and installs a vast range of standard and custom engineered grout bags for multiple purposes including:

• freespan correction
• supporting monopile j-tubes
• crossover support formworks
• overlay mattresses and sleeves for protection
• jacking-up subsea structures

 

They are used for both preventative and curative situations, and depending upon the environment, can be deployed by divers or ROVs. FoundOcean has vast experience of installing fabric formworks and holds the record for deploying the deepest fabric formworks at depths of 1,224m and 1,370m off the Ivory Coast and Chinese waters, respectively.

In 2012, FoundOcean opened its DNV-accredited fabric formwork manufacturing facility in Mumbai, India, with its joint-venture partner, Ambico Group. The two companies have worked together on projects in the South East Asian region since 2006, and opening the fabric formwork manufacturing facility together was a natural step in being able to offer clients a single source for the design, manufacture, and installation of a wide range of high-quality grout bags.

FoundOcean provides specialist grout mixing equipment together with experienced personnel for the successful installation of the formworks. And because FoundOcean is involved in the offshore work, all formwork designs take account of the technical aspects of installation.
