Cable Support and Stabilisation

J-tubes require supporting at the base of the foundation or substation structure where it reaches the seabed. A Fabric Formwork is a flexible bag constructed from woven fabric which is filled with grout in-situ. The final shape of the support is defined by the shape of the Fabric Formwork.

We have experience of installing Fabric Formworks in both preventative and curative conditions, and depending upon the environment can be deployed by divers or ROVs

Cable crossings and cable/pipleine crossings also require supporting with Fabric Formworks which come in a variety of shapes and sizes depending upon the environment and use.

FoundOcean is your single-source for the design, manufacture and installation of all types of fabric formworks. In fact, we hold the record for deploying the deepest fabric formworks at a depth of 1,224m.

In addition, FoundOcean provides specialised grout mixing and pumping equipment together with experienced personnel for the successful installation of the Fabir Formworks. Because FoundOcean is involved in the offshore work, all Fabric Formwork designs take account of the practical aspects of installation.
